Welcome to myQmunity.com, THE place to find out events, organizations and businesses for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities throughout Tampa Bay!

As we began creating this site, themes emerged. People asked for consistent and reliable information presented in an attractive format; a resource to quickly and easily find out what was going on in the LGBT community; one that assumed they were intelligent and more than one-dimensional. They  also wanted us to keep it kind of clean, but still have have fun.  myQmunity.com was born.

It was completely designed with you, our customers - both users and advertisers - in mind. This is YOUR resource to find out about community organizations, clubs and groups, houses of worship, events and businesses that are gay owned, gay friendly or that appeal to gay sensibilities. You'll find  where to go and what to do to, with others or on your own.

We've included searchable events and activities, listings of organizations and businesses, honest overviews by us and reviews by other members. (Look for the ruby slippers!) There are pictures to give you a feel of a group, business or event. We offer special features too, like articles, blogs, podcasts and video. We have even added DEALS and TRAVEL!  And because we’re local -- you can trust the information.

We give back. EVERY gay or gay friendly non-profit organization gets FREE advertising to list their organization and events. We know how important it is to them and the community that they get their message out.

We have a sense of humor. We use "ruby slippers" as an homage to being gay and OUR Gay Agenda is simply a listing of where to go and what to do! (look at it in your smart phone it fits in the screen perfectly to give you an at a glance look at the next 5 days)
