“THE PURSUIT OF SNAPPINESS” at New American Theater Back
St. Petersburg, FL – New American Theater (NAT) kicks off their Summer Cabaret Series with
“THE PURSUIT OF SNAPPINESS”, a new cabaret featuring crowd favorite Michael Raabe.
There will be three performances at New American Theater’s intimate 60-seat cabaret space on
July 8 & 9 at 8:00pm and July 10 at 6:30pm.
“THE PURSUIT OF SNAPPINESS” will take you on a sixty-minute journey that highlights
Michael’s one -of-a-kind take on show tunes, jazz standards, pop, and rock. It features an
eclectic array of music from Stephen Sondheim and Rodgers and Hammerstein to ABBA and
ZZ Top! Joined by the dynamic Tito Vallejo on upright bass, Michael will guide you toward
your inner “SNAPPINESS”!
NAT’s Summer Cabaret Series will continue thru September and will feature other cabaret
favorites and some new faces as well. The shows will vary greatly in an effort to find
something for every taste. In addition to the standard cabaret shows, the series will feature and
original new play from a local playwright and some comedy-club performances.
