Create a Question for Republican Debate Back

(From Florida Together)

Next week every leading Republican presidential candidate will be in Tampa for a debate hosted by CNN and the TEA Party.

/system/medias/100/post/Florida Together.jpg?1315341219To prepare, CNN is inviting questions for the candidates. And we have one:

The 2008 Republican platform said that discrimination is immoral.

In June, 2011, President Obama signed two international Resolutions affirming that human rights treaties require discrimination protections for “sexual orientation” and “gender identity.”

Was President Obama right to include those provisions in international Resolutions and do you believe the principle of protecting people from discrimination extends to all Americans regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity?

We we’re not trying to ask a trick question. But we do want candidates to be clear about where they stand on equality. They need to go on the record.

To help put them on the record, please ask our question. Or submit an equality question of your own for the candidates. But make sure they hear from you.

To ask our question, or submit your own, just click here: http://bit.ly/qCjBfx

It will just take a few seconds to make our issues America’s issues. Don’t miss this easy chance to make your voice heard.

Thank you.

Michael Kenny

P.S. Once you’ve submitted the question, take another easy step. Tell us, and the world, about your question for the candidates by sharing it on Twitter or Facebook.
