It’s no secret that Gov. Rick Scott and other legislative leaders are attacking Florida’s hardworking men, women, and families! Gov. Scott’s proposed budget, combined with destructive proposals from the legislature, will cut billions from public schools, harm the quality of health care Floridians receive, and cut thousands of jobs.
Educators, Fire Fighters, Law Enforcement, and other public servants have been rallying throughout the state, and it’s time that we raise our voice and join them! Floridian’s are fed up with our newly elected governor and legislative leaders and their determination to balance the budget on the backs of our hard-working men and women.
We’re saying “Enough is enough!” It’s time to Awake the State! Local rallies have been planned throughout Florida to urge our state legislators to reject budge cuts and invest in Floridians again. The Florida GLBT Democratic Caucus encourages you to participate!
