Gay Events in Tampa and St Pete 3/9 Back
There is so much going on that we want to keep you up to speed on everything...so here are a few things you might have missed!
Starting this weekend--check out the Grand Opening of the Savory Spice Shop in St Pete. This great new spice shop has some of the coolest spices, herbs and rubs--but don't leave without trying the freeze dried corn...really. They have all kinds of things going on fron chefs making appearances to trip giveaways.
In Ybor on Saturday night you'll have a lot to choose from. There is the annual St Patrick's Day parade and Vickie Shaw will be at PLAY. Also as a surprise at PLAY--you'll see Kristie Lee! What a night! Of course there is always the great Drag Shows at Hamburger Mary's and Chelsea Nightclub's great party with Ami Demilo!
One of our favorite pols, Councilman Steve Kornell is kicking off his campaign with a party (it is his birthday too!) on March 19th. The event will take place at The Yard (formerly Shackleton’s Folly)
After you stop by and say hi to Steve--make sure you head over to the new Dali Museum and get to Taste of Pride! Over 15 restaurants, wines and craft beer. Just $35 in advance and $40 at the door.
Coming up on Saturday March 26 there will be a lot of split decisions. Local filmmaker Victoria Jorgensen will debut her film at the Festival of the Moving Image. After the movie and a Q & A with the cast and crew--head over to PLAY Ybor where Deb and Steph will headline the show as Halcyon!

Yes another event on the 26th you can join up with our friends at Outings & Adventures to see Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf. myQmunity.com is the media sponsor for this event at American Stage ane we love to support this group.
And finally (though we are sure there is more to come) Our partners at Creative Loafing will be throwing yet another amazing Sensory Overload at the Glazer Children's Museum. This one will truly be an overload.
