The BIGGEST event is not just LGBT-but it is very gay friendly. First Night St Pete. This event has family-oriented festivities with music stages, entertainment, drama, dance, games, art, fireworks and more.Michael Lynche from American Idol will be the headliner.
Other fireworks can be seen at Channelside in Tampa. The event will consist of a dramatic fireworks display choreographed to music and launched off a barge in the Garrison Channel. The festivities can be seen from the Florida Aquarium, Yacht StarShip, Cotanchobee Park, Harbour Island, Channelside Bay Plaza and more. The festivities start at 2 p.m. with live music acts.
Another chance for fireworks is Busch Gardens. Here The Guess Who will perform, from wheelchairs we assume, and then there are fireworks at the stroke of midnight.
