Santa Speedo Run Back
Enjoy the fact that we live in an area where 1) we can run around in Speedos in December; 2) there are people who look good running around in Speedos in December (like those two cuties in ASAP’s promotion video, below); and 3) that we have an AIDS organization like ASAP that has the promotional flair to raise money through fun events like this one.
Speedos and holiday touches (Santa beards, holly berries, etc.) are strongly suggested, but not required (and no thongs!); the race is only a mile long starting at Clymer Park at 28th Ave. S. and Gulfport Blvd.; registration is at 3, run starts at 4 on Sat. Dec. 18. Registration fee is $20 (with funds going to ASAP and the Brighter Seasons for Children program), and if you raise $100 or more in donations, you’re eligible for commemorative items.
