St Petersburg, FL, February 9, 2011- Suzanne Westenhoefer will bring her all-new show, Semi-Sweet to the Palladium Theater on Saturday March 26, at 8:00 pm.
Whether you’ve seen her one time or twenty, Suzanne Westenhoefer’s new show for 2011 is not to be missed. The iconic lesbian comedian has embarked on a crazy, all-new, heart-pumping, mind-bending, hilarious romp through heartbreak, comedy, life, love, and everything about couples un-coupling in the modern world. You’ve never seen Suzanne like this before!
“I’m calling the new show Semi-Sweet because there’s a lot of sweet stuff to talk about…. and a lot of stuff that, well, isn’t.” says Westenhoefer. “The show is cry-laugh funny, and a little bit thought-provoking at the same time. It’s all about the changes that have occurred in my life over the past year. Some have been good… and some not-so-much. I thought the name Semi-Sweet captured that perfectly.”
“Even if you saw me last year, you’ll want to come back because there’s some crazy, fresh, new content that will knock your socks off. This tour is going to be unlike any other you’ve ever seen.” Westenhoefer adds, “Expect 75-90 minutes of non-stop inappropriate comedy!”
Curve magazine voted Westenhoefer “America’s Funniest Lesbian” and she has also recently appeared in fan-favorite We Have to Stop Now (also starring lesbian icons Meredith Baxter, Cathy DeBuono and Jill Bennett). Westenhoefer will also be seen in the upcoming Nicole Conn film A Perfect Ending. Filming is scheduled to begin in Spring 2011.
