Tampa Roller Derby will kick off their 2012 home team bouting season by hosting a double header March 3rd Back
Tampa Roller Derby (previouslyknown as the Tampa Bay Derby Darlins) will kick off their 2012 home team bouting season by hosting a double header March 3rd, 2012 in Tampa,Florida at the USA Skateplex. First up, Tampa’s reigning champions, The Cigar City Mafia take on the Bradentucky Bombers from Bradenton, Fl. Immediately following, it’s a home team battle as The Switchblade Sisters take on the Black Widows. This will be the first of 6 bouts throughout the season to determine which of the three home teams will make it to the Championship Game. Doors open at 6:00 PM. The first bout begins at 6:30 PM, and the second bout will begin at 8:00 PM. Bring your own folding chairs for close-up, trackside seating. Children 7 and under are free. Tickets are available the day of, at the door of the Skateplex for $15. Advance tickets are $10 and can be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/220046.
