was thier and waited over a hour for a menu and bartender forgot to order our food which was a sandwich and fry's . we went up to him several time's and finally gave up and thier were no table's available either. i miss the old suncoast at least they paid attention to you and didn't dismiss you because you are older and not a cute twink. i see this happening more and more in gay establishment's where the young are nasty and mean to the older crowd who actually has the money imagine that. i see it no more then being a very big lot's knock off of suncoast and it won't last till they yeach thier young server's and young staff member's your suppose to respect the older one's not diss them and treat them like a plague. in my day it was awsome to see the older mentoring the younger crowd but in this day and age it is all hate from most young people.

I am starting to sense a pattern with the 11/24 reviewer. Apparently writing terrible reviews about all but one of the gay bars in Tampa Bay is what he or she means by "uniting the community". I for one love my generation and completely disagree with each of his (or her) reviews. In particular, his or her assessment of Flamingo Resort and also Georgie's is way off base. Can't we all just get along?? ;)
I'm a retired man and have been going to Flamingo for 1 1/2 years now since they opened. The staff is made up of all ages, and I've been respected by all of them. Flamingo is a blessing & welcomed addition to the Tampa Bay area! My gay snowbird friends stay there all the time!

Have visited several times for Sunday T and had a blast. Wide variety of guys, big open pool area, and nice, friendly bartenders.
